ABOUT AMBITIONS ABROAD
Ambitions Abroad was started as a response to the shocking lack of resources available for Irish students who aimed to expand their horizons and study at the top universities in the world. Our founder, Conor Slattery, was accepted into each of the three most selective schools in the world (Stanford, Harvard, and Columbia) in addition to many more elite institutions. Conor decided to leverage his extensive experience developing an exceptional profile and writing successful applications to assist other Irish students in pursuing their ambitions to study abroad at a price far below his American counterparts.

Conor first began to think about applying to study in the US at the beginning of Transition Year. A little over two years later, he had received offers from almost every school to which he applied, and had the opportunity to enroll in his 'dream school' as part of Stanford University's Class of 2025.
Having come through the Irish system, unlike other admissions consultants and advisors, Conor has a true understanding of the nature of the Irish education system and the ways Irish students may impress the admissions officers reviewing their applications.
